Birth Doula Services The standard feefor our birth doula service is $700.00. Half of the fee ($350.00) is due at contract signing and is non-refundable. The remainder is due at the 37th week of pregnancy. Services include a minimum of two prenatal visits, continuous birth support for women in active labor, and labor support as defined during birth planning. Additionally you receive up to two hours immediate postpartum support which can include comfort measures and breast feeding support if desired. Finally included is a postpartum visit within two weeks postpartum. 24-hour phone support throughout the pregnancy is also included. While this is our normal fee, it is our belief that every woman deserves an opportunity to have a doula. With this in mind, our fee schedule can be made flexible. To provide the highest level of service, we do limit the number of clientele we support each month.
Postpartum Doula We do offer limited postpartum services. The fees for these are:
$25.00 per hour during the hours of 7p.m.-7a.m. $20.00 per hour during the hours of 7a.m.-7-p.m.
A postpartum doula is trained to help new families in the early weeks at home with their babies. These services include help with breast feeding education, newborn care, and nighttime support. Specific postpartum services can be defined at contract signing.
Private Childbirth Education Classes 8 hour Basic Childbirth Education Class (One day class) $150.00(per couple) This course covers prenatal nutrition and exercise, birthplans, fetal development, progression of labor, comfort and relaxation techniques for all stages of labor, pros and cons of medications, inductions, cesarean sections and more. It also covers breastfeeding and postpartum care.
12 Hour Childbirth Education Class (6 week series) $200.00 (per couple) In addition to the Basic Childbirth Education Class, you will receive more focused partner coaching for labor.
Lactation Consultation
$80.00 initial consultation fee (this covers a 1 hour consult plus a 1 hour follow up within 36 hours) $50.00 per hour for further consultations 24/7 support can be offered for a negotiated fee
